San Francisco Photographer – Bay Area Portrait Photography bio picture

welcome to my blog and website!

I love what I do - I'm a mother to my 2 year-old baby girl named Gemma, wife to my amazing husband Scott, sister (youngest of 6) to my wonderful brothers and sisters, and daughter to my supportive and sweet mother and father (may he rest in peace).  I am also a photographer in the Bay Area with passion for people and telling stories.

For 15 years I produced video games, focusing mainly on art, animation and story. Now I'm applying those artistic and story-telling skills to my photography and having so much fun!

Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my site. Drop me a comment and let me know what you think - I love hearing from folks!  :)

Enjoy life!  Enjoy my site!  Gracias!

Love Affair Workshop, Day 2

Another amazing day at the Love Affair Workshop in San Diego – I’m learning so much and am so exhausted.  We talked about balancing life and why we are doing photography – it got a little emotional.  We also learned about off-camera lighting, more on workflow and actions.  We had another great photoshoot with and adorable couple, Brandon and Katie.

Love Affair Workshop, day 1

I’m having an amazing time here in San Diego here at the Love Affair workshop!

I’m learning so much and meeting such wonderful people that I feel like I’m gonna burst.  🙂  Today we got in deep into lenses, natural lighting, shooting in manual (huge!), interviewing clients, photoshop actions, directing models… sooo much.   Here’s one of the photos I took today.  More to come!

Happy Pandy Halloween

My little 14-month old Gemma experienced her first halloween!  🙂  And she was such a good sport too – that outfit must have been itchy and hot but she was fine with it.   My friend made the outfit for her child and lent it to me – needless to say, it was a big hit with everyone!  🙂

Stopping to be her little observer Panda self.

This picture cracks me up – she looks like a real Panda!

I love my little osita panda!

rosaura - Thank you so much for the comment! Gemma is so wonderful and I loved her in this pandy outfit! :)

Maggie + Mark = Married

Maggie and Mark were married last weekend in Half Moon Bay. They were so wonderful and full of love and just thrilled to be together. Maggie was just gorgeous with her flowing dress and classic goddess look with just a touch of Marilyn. And Mark was very handsome and proud in his uniform. I was super honored to be part of their big day. Here are just a few photos… more to come.

MariaDelCarmen - Hola Rosuara,
Como Estas? Muy Buen? Si! Your idea is both creative and artistic. Great Job! Lisa and I agree that Photo #2 captures the concept of "Shadowing" much better. Good Luck and Good Skill!

Katie’s Belly

Meet Katie! She is 7 months pregnant with her first child, a baby girl due in early Dec. She was a great sport and allowed me to photograph her while on one of her daily walks with her co-oworkers. 🙂
