One year ago, in Burlingame CA, a beautiful baby girl named Ali was born. I helped photograph her parents’ awesome and fun San Francisco wedding. So it was especially awesome to witness and photograph their next major milestone. I felt so lucky and honored to have captured their baby girl’s first moments of life.
Happy Birthday Ali! And super congratulations to Ann and Scott for surviving the first year so wonderfully with your little amazing happy Ali!
Enjoy this slideshow of Ali’s birth:

I love playing with light and I love showing people how beautiful they are. Here’s on of my favorite photographs of Jeanine and Eric’s wedding taken at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Palo Alto, CA.

In honor of Shantel and Manesh’s Pooja, Indian Wedding Ceremony, happening tomorrow, I wanted to post these 2 sneak peeks for you. So looking forward to shooting their wedding later this month at Ardenwood Historic Farm.

A natural extension of being a wedding photographer is becoming a family photographer when your couples start having babies. Well I am finding that I love family photography just as much as I love wedding photography. I love all the tiny wonderful and often messy details of family life and love that happen on a daily basis and are yet so fleeting – so many stories to tell, both big and small. Please contact me if you would like a family session, I’d LOVE to do it. 🙂
I had a super wonderful time with the McCullough family enjoying 10-month old Alexandra and their very patience and laid-back dog Bo who is still getting used to no longer being the only ‘child’. Alex is so full of joy and wonder. She will forever be known as the girl with the photoshopped eyes – her eyes are so naturally gorgeously blue and bright in person and they just popped in the light. Please enjoy some of my favorites from my time with the McCullough family.
She’s learning to walk! I’m sure the next time I see her she’ll be running around and being unstoppable. I love this little moment with her father guiding her first steps.
Bunny is one of Alex’s favorite friends.
Seriously, Bo is so incredibly good-mannered and patient.
Reminding Bo that he is still very much loved…
